Back Reflection Protection
Older generation fiber lasers often use software isolation to turn off the laser if backscatter is detected. This solution requires a reset of the system and this system may not always be fast enough to ensure that the laser is completely protected from damage. nLIGHT’s hardware isolation converts the reflected power into heat before it can damage the laser, keeping your process running, reducing processing time and saving you expensive repairs.
