The SafanDarley R-Brake is a revolutionary bending-cell concept based on the SafanDarley E-Brake press brake. For the SafanDarley R-Brake, the press brake and the robot have been…
Electric Press Brakes
Our electric press brakes from machine tool manufactures SafanDarley and Coastone represent the most advanced and accurate press brakes on the market to date.
A choice of two types of servo electric press brakes are available – the E-Brake system based on the pulley principle from SafanDarley or the direct ball screw driven C-Series from Coastone. Machine configurations with pressing forces from 18 to 300 ton and working lengths from 0.5 to 4.1 meters are available in fully electric models.
Electric press brake technology has become more practical and cost-effective for a wider range of production requirements. These press brakes are incredibly accurate, combined with the absence of hydraulic oil they are able to produce high quality and accurate components for years of production. This results in shorter cycle times compared to traditional hydraulic press brakes and reduces the risk of polluting oil. Cycle time are said to be 2 to 2.5 time quicker than their hydraulic counter parts without having any negative affect on operator safety. Our press brakes are supplied with the most advanced safety systems, all SafanDarley E-brakes are equipped with a programmable light curtain as standard whilst the Coastone C-Series can be equipped with a simple light curtain to the most highly sophisticated Lazer Safe system for maximum operational safety. They are also up to 50% more energy-efficient than a comparable hydraulic press brake. The electric press brakes only consumes energy when the upper beam is moving.
In terms of graphic controls the new generation of SafanDarley E-Control touch screen controls is unequalled in terms of ease of operation. Extra optional features include 2D and 3D graphic displays, 2D bending simulation and even 3D graphic programming. The SafanDarley control is intuitive, simple and super-fast, your operators wont believe how easy it is to use.
